Crafting Tools
While mostly a knitter, it helps to have a crochet hook (or 3) to help with dropped stitches.
FINGERINSPIRE 26 Pcs Aluminum Crochet Hook Kit
While it helps to have multiple stitch counters, this is my favorite for when I’m on a roll. A simple press of a button is all it takes.
Digital Finger Row Counter by Susan Bates
I don’t keep all this in my craft bag, usually a pair of needles or 2. However, this is a great starter kit with most of the tools a beginner would need and it’s not too expensive.
Coopay Beginner Knitting Kit w/20 Yarn & Needles
These say they’re for crochet, but they also help with tension in knitting as well. Cute cats always make crafting more fun!
Juszok Adjustable Crochet Tension Rings 3Pcs
I love these for multiple reasons. To keep my scissors safe, to make DPNs straight needles. The possibilities are endless
Clover Point Protectors, Large, Purple
DPNs are so useful for multiple projects. For smaller things, I’ll use these needles as straight needles to save space in my bag. Also, they’re color coated by color (usually) so I know what size I’m using at a glance.
7in Doublepoint Knitting Needles by Loops & Threads®
I use these in multiple sizes.
Point Protectors
Small but powerful.
Embroidery Scissors
Useful for measuring progress. I keep multiple on hand, just in case.
Soft Tape Measure
These are a must for complicated patterns.
Boye: Stitch Markers
I keep extras of these around, just in case. They’re so handy.
Row Counters
I love this yarn, especially for things like blankets and throws. A variety of colors and it knits up beautifully.
Pound of Love® Yarn
I add this to the crochet needle set above with the keychain. Definitely helps to have storage for the smaller items like needles
KYUEWRT 10Pcs Large Eye Yarn Darning Needles
These help with sewing pieces together. Also half decent stitch markers or end weights. So many uses.
Safety Pins - Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Organization
I use these to keep my yarn for different projects separate.
Ziploc Gallon Food Storage Bags, 81 Count
This is similar to the ones I use. I tend to use multiple at a time for multiple projects. Usually they’re gifted to me or part of a crafting package.
Miss Adola Aesthetic Canvas Tote Bag - Reusable Shoulder Bag for Women
I’m old school and like to print my patterns. I also keep tips and tricks from other crafters too, like reference sheets.
3 Ring Binder
Love to use fun colors to highlight the important parts of patterns
Pastel Highlighter
Great for leaving notes on patterns for the next go round
Pentel Rsvp Fine Point Pen
Perfect size for reading downloaded patterns and books on kindle.
iPad mini
Love these to mark my place on a paper pattern
Book Darts
Another way I keep track of where I am on paper patterns.

Non-Crafting (But Essential)
I love Bath and Body Works lotions. Especially when I’m crafting. It’s moisture and aromatherapy in one.
Bath & Body Works
Chapped anything is no fun. This stuff will moisturize anything.
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing 2 Pack Swivel Stick with Vitamin E is Ideal for your "On the Go" Needs. It's a Moisturizer Stick for Dry Lips, Treats Dry Skin Patches, & much more 0.30 oz
Have to stay hydrated. 😁
Embark : Water Bottles
Apps
Have to have some noise going on in the background. Best app for learning new things.
Apple Podcasts
Great to have stuff on in the background, but also for tutorials if I ever get confused by a pattern.
YouTube
Not my original go-to for patterns, but it is nice to browse.
Ravelry
Cute free patterns pretty often.
Ribblr
Pretty new to this one, but they had a good annual deal, so I’m giving it a shot. Lots of crafts to learn!
