The Louisville Zoo is perfect for kids and toddlers. It's visually engaging without requiring a lot of walking. Great for short attention spans. They also have fun seasonal themes and activities.

This is one of our favorite Aquariums. There are so many different fish and reptiles to look at. Toddlers and kids love the calming visuals.
Newport Aquarium
This is such a fun day trip. You can take the kids on an outdoor walk and have a picnic and play afterwards. The giants are a must see. It's great for slower days when you just want to get outside.
Bernheim Forest and Arboretum
Toddlers love Dinosaur World because it is fun and visual without being intense. it's an easy stop if you're already traveling through the area.

This is a fun family destination with plenty to see above ground. We love the walking trails and stopping in the picnic area, and keeping things simple for our toddler.
Mammoth Cave National Park
Tis museum is designed with the littles in mind and works really well with toddlers. It's hands-on and easy to manage for a shorter visit.
Lexington Children’s Museum
Smother's park in Owensboro is such a fun park for the littles to get their energy out. It's located by the river where you can enjoy beautiful views while they play.

this is by far our favorite pumpkin patch to visit. there are so many activities for the kids and toddlers. They have a petting zoo area, pig race, a big slide, bumpy slides, food, and so much more.
