The TONY Awards aren't just for Broadway! The Regional Theatre Tony Award is a special recognition Tony Award given annually to a regional theater company in the United States. The winner is recommended by a committee of drama critics.

Arena Stage is one of the earliest winners of the Regional Theatre Tony Award (1970). They have a second award for Dear Evan Hansen, which they premiered pre-Broadway.
