Never Lie was my first book of 2023 and my first Frieda McFadden book. I'm so happy this was my first of hers. She has some hits and misses but this one was amazing!!

If you're a true crime fanatic like I am you'll love this one. There really wasn't any hope for Carl Panzram from the very beginning. This books dives into his childhood, hard upbringing, and chilling crimes.
