Food
Daily food
I give my bun a handful of these each morning. He likes them a lot, really gobbles up this brand
This hay is perfect for us being that there's only one rabbit. I buy it every 2 weeks or so!
Chewy is a good resource for rabbit supplies! And for most pets really
It's best to give them water from a bowl or a pet fountain like this one, not the bottle that hangs on the side of a cage.
Treats
Give these sparingly!!!! Oxbrow is the only brand I buy for my rabbit.
My rabbit goes coo coo bananas for these treats 🤣 just don't give them too many
There's actually a lot of flavors for these treats, and this one is a favorite for my rabbit
Toys
Something to keep in mind, rabbits can be so playful! I actually give my rabbit infant toys too haha
This is a nifty thing as it doubles as a treat holder and a toy. The rabbits have to figure out how to get to their treat!
When my rabbit is angry he goes to these cups and tosses them 😂 it's funny! He plays with them at other times too though
Balls like this are super cheap and my rabbit loves to scoot them around
Enclosures
While allowing your rabbit to be free range is best, it's not always realistic.
This pen is great! I have two of them put together for my rabbits enclosure and I use the extra pieces to block various parts of my home too to him... Like the window with the long blinds 🤣
Keep in mind this ✨will✨ eventually get chewed to bits but my rabbit seems to really enjoy having this in his xpen
I place these little hideouts all around my house! They're safe for rabbits to eat and it gives them a spot to rest in that is all their own.
Miscellaneous useful items
Just some things I've found useful in my rabbit care
Rabbits need soft places, rugs are essential if you have all hard wood floors. I like getting washable ones like these so cleaning them is a breeze
You're going to want to invest in a good vacuum! Between my rabbit scattering poops around and when he has his molts it's just an absolute must. I vacuum up after him every single day so a great vacuum that isn't going to break is so important.
I've found my rabbit won't go in a covered litter box! Having several boxes around your home is a really good idea.
You do NOT have to buy special litter or bedding for litter boxes, using hay in their boxes is absolutely fine! But this is the litter I buy for my rabbit. It's cheap for how much you get and usually lasts us about a month.
