One of the best parts of WB is the creative food! Trust me, I am a snob and usually disappointed with an expensive and “meh” meal. These joints do not disappoint.
My friends own this true farm to table restaurant. It is THE BEST food in ILM. They also farm their own Lucy Bea oysters in Topsail Island and bring only the best ingredients to the table.
Rx Chicken and Oysters
My favorite secret garden on the WB island. Gotta love the service window and the froze! Go for a 6 pack and leave with a t-shirt (awesome shirts) and new friends.
Lighthouse Beer & Wine
Another SCRATCH KITCHEN that I love. The food is better than expected for a touristy location at Johnny Mercers pier. Craft cocktails are top notch and- the Nashville chicken fingers are surprisingly awesome.
Shark Bar and Kitchen
It's the local dollar bar with the BEST REDBULL AND VODKA SLUSHIES!
Jimmy's Wrightsville Beach
Not all mexican food is the same. THIS is awesome. I recommend the Beach Towel tacso- chicken.
Tower 7 Baja Mexican Grill
Head over to the secret garden and enjoy your froze or favorite beer. Special spot and great wine selection.
Lighthouse Beer & Wine
Scratch Kitchen! Better than expected. The food here is really great and the craft cocktails are delicious. Nashville Chicken is my fav.
Shark Bar and Kitchen
Mingle with the LOCALS and grab a coffee, fresh pastry or THE BEST ACAI BOWL in town. Do not be afraid to walk up the stairs! Just do it and enter a chill vibe right off the beach.

I am a member of this awesome private boat/water sports club. The location is just before Wrightsville Beach at the 1/2 house. Rent kayaks, SUP, bikes and boats. The owner Jarod is awesome.

Get a SNOW GLOBE, a BEER in a brown bag and high end fishing LURES in one place. Oh...dog leashes, crochet belts, sunscreen, Costas and Tommy Bahama clothes. It is the most eclectic of stores.

The owner of this tour company is the most bad ass historian and every tour is amazing. Start at the awesome Arrive Hotel with a cocktail and then do a tour, stopping at 3 speakeasies. Worth doing again and again.

Locations - Surf Church
Annoyed by paying $40/day to park and have to leave your dog at home? Topsail is a classic beach town. I prefer the north end. And DOGS ARE ALLOWED - on a leash.

Looking to catch a wave on WB but don't have a board? Rent one at this iconic surf shop. Parking free before 9 and get your waves on! Upstairs, enjoy great food at Sundays. Hang ten or watch surf camp and UNCWs surf team!
South End Surf Shop
A new fav in ILM. This GUNTRY CLUB has skeet shooting, target practice and a restaurant. If things your "thang" this place is wonderful.

Get your workout ON! This place is hot,hot, hot. The owner Billy is a pilates and yoga guru and he will change your life. Note: these places can smell a little sweaty- but 10 min in and your good!

Don't let the hotel name fool you. This rooftop bar has the BEST VIEWS in downtown. It's a treat to see the whole Cape Fear river and find your happy place! Great drinks- eat somewhere else though.
