If I’m not cooking, I want to eat well. These places make it worth it to dine out. (In no particular order).

Amazing food, service, and super accessible. It’s also great with allergies. It’s great for dinner with friends, a date night, or meeting the parents. It’s built to impress and so is the menu.
Rose Mary
Great service. Amazing drinks and food. Dinner with friends, solo dinner, special occasion friendly. Save room for dessert because the ice cream and tiramisu are both excellent.
il Carciofo
Elevated Southern cuisine at its best. The cornbread reminds me of those Sundays growing up when my mom’s cornbread was the last thing she made before dinner was served.
Virtue Restaurant
My favorite brunch spot. The menu is a perfect encapsulation of brunch with the right small bites, lunch/dinner items, and breakfast staples to always meet your brunch moment.
Cafe Robey
The vibes are immaculate and so are the sliders.
Momotaro
Okay I’ve been just to get a drink and listen to the music. It almost made me forget how good the food is, and then I got my burger and was reminded the food is a star.
Parachute HiFi
Yes it’s a great bar but the food is well worth the hype. Love sitting on the patio or at the bar
Chef’s Special Cocktail Bar
The pastry menu is worth the price of admission. The rest of their food is also good but you have to try the pastries.
Obélix
Amazing drinks and a burger so good I’ve ordered it for delivery.
Gretel
You could buy yourself flowers, but instead buy pasta at Daisies. Love the onion dip and the fritto miso as go to apps. Don’t sleep on the potted carrots.
Daisies
Yes the burger is worth the hype. But also everything else on the menu. My fave is the congee
Mott St
Always get the egg. On what? On everything that’s offered.
Au Cheval
Love the pepperoni with a drizzle of hot honey
Professor Pizza
Worth every trip. For whichever meal, brunch or dinner. It’s always great and never misses.
Lula Cafe
Some of the best service I’ve ever had. I’ve gone there solo and had a blast.
Maxwells Trading
A TRUE fusion. The drinks were great but honestly the food was so good I threw all spice caution to the wind. No regrets.
Mirra
Did you think I would not recommend a place where you can make your own s’mores as dessert? High brow food and fun.
Proxi
I’m a sucker for a diner with a record station. Great for a slow morning pick me up or after an afternoon stroll through Wicker. No reservations though for brunch and lunch.
Dove's Luncheonette
The first time I ate here it was kind of by accident. Stopped in for a drink before another later reservation. Almost cancelled because the food here was so good. Has an intimate feel and memorable flavor.
