An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Definitely spray this on especially if you'll be outside at dusk or after. Look for a repellent with DEET, or oil of lemon or eucalyptus.
Loose and light colored clothing will make you less attractive (and noticeable) to mosquitos. Wear long sleeves, pants, and socks to cover exposed skin.
Avoid peak mosquito activity times like dawn or dusk. No fun, I know, but you'll thank me later.
Install screens on windows and doors to keep mosquitos out. Be sure to maintain your screens and repair any holes.

An antihistamine will alleviate allergic reactions to mosquito bites. I've found this marginally helpful but this along with the heat-u device recently salvaged a trip to Florida where I was eaten alive! I hope these help, please let me know.
