First festival I came home looking like a lobster because I refused to put sunscreen over my foundation. Never again — these layer under or over everything without turning you into a grease ball.

Porta-potty mirrors are warped, cracked, or nonexistent. I needed eye products I could literally apply with my finger while walking between stages.

My foundation literally slid down my face at my first festival like it was trying to escape. These are the only base products that stayed on when I was dancing in direct sunlight for six hours straight.

Without setting spray, every product on this list would slide off within two hours. Learned that lesson at Lollapalooza 2022 when my entire face was on my shirt collar by sunset.

Carrying separate blush, lipstick, and eyeshadow is a rookie mistake when you have twelve inches of bag space. These do triple duty and none of them require brushes.

When everything else melts, filled-in brows are what keep you from looking completely washed out. These took thirty seconds max and none of them smudged.

Cried during a Phoebe Bridgers set, got splashed by a stranger's water bottle, walked through a misting tent — and needed my eye makeup to survive all of it without looking like a raccoon.

Nothing kills a lip look faster than a $14 taco and a margarita. I needed something that survived eating, drinking, and reapplying without a mirror.

Baby wipes and dry shampoo became my entire hygiene personality. My hair went from cute to greasy to crunchy — these kept it looking intentional instead of neglected.

Sleeping in a tent after twelve hours of sun, dust, and questionable decisions — your skin is screaming by midnight. These minis fit in a sandwich bag and kept my face from completely revolting.

Forgot about my body completely at my first festival and came home with peeling shoulders, chafed thighs, and the driest legs of my life. Never making those mistakes again.

Products are only half the battle — without the right tiny tools, I was applying concealer with my pinky and storing everything in a plastic grocery bag. These kept me organized in minimal space.
