Postpartum, I realized I needed a hobby—something that felt like mine again. Enter: reading. Do I know what makes writing “good”? Nope. Do I care? Also nope. My version of annotating(if I even bothered with that ) would be like: “make this emo quote ...

I’m a big fan of Abby Jimenez but this one might just be my favorite rom com of the year. I laughed I sobbed - I hated every-tine I needed to put it down.
Yours Truly (Part of Your World, #2) by Abby Jimenez

The Empyrean series was my first real dip into fantasy, and it swallowed me whole. I spent months completely lost in that world—dragons, danger, and all-consuming tension. I’m honestly a little afraid to pick up another fantasy now, because this seri...
Fourth Wing (The Empyrean, #1) by Rebecca Yarros

I thought this started a little slow but a third of the way through i got the hype. Just an overall wholesome book that I very much enjoyed as a little brain pallette cleanser(is that a thing?)
Remarkably Bright Creatures By Shelby Van Pelt

Im a little on the fence with this one- Don't quite understand the hype but didn't hate it. I think i want books to just sweep me away and this one didn't do it for me.

okay I  rated this 5 stars on goodreads but completely forgot I even read it -I  had to go back and read the description and even then almost removed it from my read books thinking I had marked it as “read” by mistake. I am not sure if that says something about the book or me. I feel like I did love it but obviously wasn't memora...

I wish I could give half stars on goodreads because I would probably give this one 4.5 ( although I think I rate a lot of books too highly) Definitely better than happy place but imo not as good as “ funny story”

I was a little harsh with this rating- 2 stars-  These characters really frustrated me- I enjoyed the hulu series though haha its amazing how your perception of characters can change when they are being portrayed by two actors you love.
Normal People By Sally Rooney

I would say 8.5/10 I enjoyed it, it was a bit predictable and there was a lot going on  but knowing myself I would have absolutely loved this book so much more if i had been physically capable of sitting and devouring it in one read vs 20 pages a night. I just read this at the wrong time.
The God of the Woods by Liz Moore

I have not read this series yet- I started with this book(#3) and LOVED it 10/10 was my first Abby Jimenez book and now I'm determined to read them all.  To be fair rom com is definitely my fave genre I'm a 80s baby and grew up on notably the best rom coms of our time so if a book is funny and has a good love story I am hooked.
