In my 30’s grey hairs in my front part/temples made themselves known. We were not friends. I covered them with highlight treatments and color for decades until in my mid-50’s it had evolved to every 3 week salon visit, I said enough. Actually embraced the grey/white hair, grew it out and never have been more liberated with my hair!! Saving big $$ is nice too :) If you are in the fence about going grey, hit me up! By my late 30’s early 40’s I began to take skin care much more seriously. Way beyond just removing makeup, cleansing and moisturizing. Great, powerful products & ingredients entered my routine. Now at 65, I have tried many products and have several brands that are my go-to…that you’ll see here. Having oily Italian skin has saved my butt but I need to do my part to give my face skin & décolletage care that will sustain its quality for the rest of my life. xoxo 💋

Being a native of the Midwest is more than just where I were born (let’s hear it for Chicago) or have lived for the last 33 years. It is a unique way of living and strong sense of community that sets this part of the country apart from other regions. Our changing seasons to deep-rooted traditions, there are certain qualities and characteristics that only true Midwesterners possess. I’ve lived on the East Coast (Jersey Shore/ Long Island) and Deep South (Birmingham AL) but nothing felt like home and community like the Midwest.
