My knees had actual bruises from kneeling on tile. The day I switched to a long-handled brush, I stood there wondering why I tortured myself for so long.

I wasted probably $60 on sprays that smelled like chemicals and did nothing. These four actually pulled the grime out without me scrubbing until my arms went numb.

Some grout lines were so far gone I needed power tools. Not literally, but close. These motorized scrubbers did what my arms physically could not.

Cleaning grout just to watch it get dirty again in two weeks made me want to scream. Sealing it after cleaning was the step I kept skipping, and it turns out that was the whole problem.

Long-handle brushes cover the main floor, but corners, baseboards, and shower door tracks need something smaller. These are the ones I keep under my sink for the spots big brushes miss.

Sometimes you do have to get down there for a stubborn spot near the toilet or behind the vanity. When that happens, at least protect your knees. I learned this after limping around for two days.
