A location for all ages and abilities! There are so many activities you can do here including rock-climbing, kayaking, dancing, fishing and casual walks along the river. You can complete a full loop by walking over the Story Bridge then into the city...
Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park
Great to visit on a tight budget. The city lights are beautiful on a clear night. If you enjoy hiking, there are many walking tracks that join onto this area. Some are difficult and some are very easy. Lots of wildlife.
Mount Coot-Tha Summit Lookout
Budget friendly and one of the few BYO locations in Brisbane for alcohol. It can be very busy on the weekend so make sure to arrive early. If you are lucky, the rose garden will be blooming.
New Farm Park
GOMA has many shows and exhibitions that visit throughout the year. You can see certain parts for free.

Visting Moreton island is great if you have a few days to spare. You can visit without a car but it's much better to visit with a 4WD to experience the whole island.
