Knee pads are super helpful when you are doing floor work but they can make it hard to grip on the pole. So having knee pads with open backs and grip on them is a must.

Run your local supermarket and get some rubbing alcohol to put in a spray bottle because your hands are going to sweat and this helps dry them out so you can get a better grip on the pole.

Sometimes I prefer i tac over dry hands for pole grip. I like itac when it’s cold and I can’t grip. I like dry hands when I’m overly sweaty, both are good to keep in your pole gym bag.
