We love Kauai. When you need a vacation and not a trip, this is the place to be. Vacations are for lounging around, relaxing and finding a good meal. Trips are where you have tons of to-do's and come back tired. This island is about taking it easy.
If you like Monkeypod on Maui, you will like Merrimans too. Everyone " who knows" knows that you have to have the Mai Tai with the lilikoi foam. I am telling you - once you have it, you will keep coming back! We went for happy hour 4:00 PM – 5: 00 PM at the Bar. Great apps and view. Perfect start to the evening. The plaza hosts a farmers market- check local listings for details.
