Bright Penny is the best brewery in Mebane! Not only is their beer selection amazing, but their food is fantastic! They have a full page of incredible deviled eggs, phenomenal pizza, and great apps and sandwiches! There is something for everyone here. Plus - they have indoor seating and a great beer garden outside.

Biscuitville is an NC staple, so of course there is a fantastic one in Mebane! This restaurant is only open until 2:30 so make sure to stop by for breakfast or lunch! There are so many incredible biscuit or platter options to choose from and lots of ways to customize your order. I recommend the pimento cheese :)

This is by far my favorite coffee shop. They have a cute little store in the front and the overall vibe is so lovely. Their seasonal specials are always divine, and it is difficult to choose which one to try! This is a great place to stop by every month to try something new that coordinates with the season! It's also a great place to stop downtown to take a break from shopping. Many people work or study here as well.

The Habit has fun seasonal drinks every month. Their space is large and right next to a sub shop if you get hungry. They also have some pastries and light food to enjoy while you are there. Drinks are usually very sweet.

Lake Michael offers free kayak and paddleboard rental for you to use! The lake is large and serene and you can usually find people fishing on the dock. There are also great hiking trails around the lake with lots of wildlife. There is plenty of parking, a playground, and many shelters and picnic tables that you can use for events or just stopping for a quick picnic. There are also restrooms. This is a great place to bring your dog!

You can't miss the outlets in Mebane! They have everything you need and great deals! There are outdoor walkways between each store - some are covered. This is busy on the weekends, but pretty open during the week!
Tanger Outlets Mebane
The walking trail here is great! Perfect to take your dog for a quick hike through the woods. There is some open area, but most of it is shaded. They also just built a playground and restroom facilities and have plans to add a polinator garden!
Cates Farm Park
This community park has soccer fields, a large shelter, bathrooms, a walking path, a splash pad, and a really fun workout center! It also features a dog park for your furry friends too. There is so much to do here for the whole family! The park is pretty knew, so everything is in excellent shape.

I love a good library! This one has such character in an old building with creaky wooden floors. There are so many comfy nooks to work or read in the library as well, and everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful!

Mebane has a social district! This is such a fun way to experience downtown and bar hop with friends! There are a lot of great restaurants and bars included in the social district. Come check it out and hit some of the shops as you walk!
