Come to Herring Neck in the month of July and experience the Dory Festival for yourself, you won't want to miss it. Lot's of tradition and lots of fun to be had :)
Now we're talking, getting closer to my home turf here. There is so much to see in Twillingate from and surrounding communities. From the Fish Fun & Folk Festival to Long Point and see all the Iceberg's in May and June. I can promise you will not be disappointed :)

Welcome to Beautiful Gros Morne National Park located on the West Coast (Best Coast hahaha) of Newfoundland in the beautiful town of Rocky Harbour
This park is more towards the Eastern Side of our beautiful Island. If you drive and take the Ferry over and Drive from Port Aux Basque all to St. John's and everywhere in between you will get some get sights in thats for sure :)
L'anse aux Meadows is located on the northernmost tip of the island in St Anthony. L'Anse aux Meadows is an archaeological site, first excavated in the 1960's, of the Norse settlement dating approximately 1000 years ago.
Fogo Island is beautiful and what a spot to go berry picking. Best berries on Newfoundland Island :)
I have never been here as this is in Labrador but It is just as beautiful as the rest of Newfoundland & Labrador :0
If you want an exciting boat tour to see some Whales head on out to Bay Bulls and Witless Bay. I can promise if you have a fed of cod fish while your there you won't be disappointed :)
Located near of Provinces Capital of St John's is Cape Spear Light House. The scenery from this Light House is breath taking. Such much beauty on one little Island :)

A Lighthouse isn't a unfamiliar thing to see if Newfoundland, being on a Island it was much needed back in the day. But every single one of them as their own story and their own beauty. It's not a see one seen them all deal at all :)
No matter what side the this beautiful Island you decide to travel there will always be amazing scenery that will take your breath away :) You visit us once and you'll be back the second, third and forth time :)
If you wanna see some Puffin's this is the place to go. The largest Puffin colony in the Western Atlantic about 225000 pairs can be found at the Witless Bay Reserve :) Absolutely beautiful :)
Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve is located on the southwestern Avalon Peninsula. Home to one of North America's largest Seabird Colonies, from Northern Gannets, Common Murres, Black-legged Kittiwakes you name it is quite the site to see :)
Located just outside of St John's, Chance Cove is beautiful from Arches to the sand warms those toes. Another little great must see if you have time to branch off into some of the little communities along the coast of Newfoundland :)
