I started with a handful of small mirrors and just taped paper cutouts on the wall to plan the layout. Once I committed, the whole thing came together in about an hour and my hallway went from ‘apartment corridor’ to ‘boutique hotel.’

Every gallery wall needs one piece that your eye goes to first. I learned the hard way that a bunch of small mirrors without a centerpiece just looks scattered, not styled.

Buying mirrors one by one was stressing me out, so I switched to sets that already coordinate. Took all the guesswork out of matching frames and sizes.

Here's what nobody tells you. Mirrors in a dark hallway just reflect darkness. I added a couple of light sources and suddenly the whole arrangement came alive. Night and day difference, literally.

My first attempt left me with seven unnecessary holes in the wall because I eyeballed everything. Round two, I used actual tools and templates. Learn from my drywall mistakes.
