Slip Knot

The bread and butter of crocheting! It’s the first real stitch you’ll learn. It creates a tight, sturdy fabric that’s perfect for making cute amigurumi or simple pouches.
Single Crochet
One of my favorite stitches! It’s the perfect middle ground—faster than a single crochet but more solid than a double crochet. It gives a lovely texture to blankets and beanies.
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
The 'speed runner' stitch. Because it’s twice as tall as a single crochet, your projects will grow much faster! It’s great for scarves and light, airy garments.
Double Crochet (DC)
Essential for circular projects. It’s tricky at first, but keep practicing!

Acts as a spacer, often used at the start/end of rounds.
Slip Stitch
