These are the things I have learned from this video:
.) Gain your own self-respect. Give respect to get respect, but only give respect to people who deserve the respect, rather than spending time on people who would never respect you.
.) "Gaining other people's respect has everything to do with the level of self-respect you have…"
.) Stand up for what you believe in.
.) “Respect is purely based on how you reflect back other people themselves.”
.) “If other people can see themselves in you, they will naturally have a greater respect for you.”
.) Don't go around demanding respect because it makes you lose respect from people.
.) Introduce yourself when you first walk into a room, because if you don't then people are going to think you're not worth knowing.
.) Try to remember people's names. Get people's social media handles.
.) Fix your posture, especially when you're walking.
.) Always stay busy. Don't be too easily available. Time is valuable.
