These are some of the tools I use around my property. I chose these based on their price, but they've proven to be reliable.
Uses the same battery as all of my tools, and works really well. Handles like a gas trimmer, but without all of the noise.
ONE+ 18V 13 in. Cordless Battery String Trimmer/Edger (Tool Only)
Switched to this when my gas mower died. So much lighter and a fraction of the noise. When it hits the thick stuff is speeds up and really goes through. It takes me about an hour to mow my yard and I still have power after. Folds up afterwards.
40V HP Brushless 20 in. Cordless Battery Walk Behind Push Mower with 6.0 Ah Battery and Charger
Also bought this because it uses my shop batteries. Works really well. No messing with oil and gas, and it's not really loud that you need to wear ear defence.
ONE+ HP 18V Brushless 110 MPH 350 CFM Cordless Variable-Speed Jet Fan Leaf Blower w/ 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger
Good earth mover and trenching tool. Has good weight to cut through heavy material. This one is heavier than average, so you can really cut through tough ground.
Wood Handled Hoe
Does the job. Doesn't need to be fancy. Ideal for moving and spreading heavier material like soil, mulch, and stone. It's always good to have around the house.
47 in. L Wood Handle 14-Tines Garden Bow Rake
Does the job. Foam grip is a nice touch. Larger foot rest on the blade makes for less foot fatigue.
47 in. L Wood Handle Carbon Steel Digging Shovel with Grip
Sometimes you need to rake leaves; This does that. Can also rake other materials like pine cones, pine needles, or light mulch.
24 in. Poly Leaf Rake
Good size for driving stakes. Heavy enough to tackle larger jobs.
4 lb. Engineer Hammer with 14 in. Fiberglass Handle
If you don't want to work with gas, this has the similar performance. It is corded, so ideal for around the house.
16 in. 13 Amp Electric Chainsaw
When you have too big of a branch or fallen tree for pruning. Works with the 40V system.
40V HP Brushless 16 in. Battery Chainsaw with 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger
Whatever the pruner can't handle, the saw makes easy work of. I pruned branches that were at least 12 feet above my head. Very handy to have, especially after a storm.
PowerLever 1-1/8 in. Cut Capacity Steel Saw Blade 15 in. Fiberglass Pole 14 ft. Tree Pruner
This is the best way to get rid of a lot of weeds from between patio stones or pavers. Hooks up to a BBQ propane tank. Easier on your back, and sounds epic. Gives off an immense amount of heat, so keep some water nearby!
Sometimes you don't want to shovel. This small snow thrower is great for walkways, decks and small patios. Doesn't look like much but it really surprises me how much it can do.
RYOBI ONE+ 18V 10 in. Single-Stage Cordless Electric Snow Shovel (Tool Only) P2706BTL
Sometimes you need to clean up. There's a reason this design has been around forever, it's effective. Can be used indoors or outdoors. Good for just about any surface for a multitude of things.
HDX Giant Commercial Corn Broom 750
Great design with the squeegee. The combination of broom and squeegee mean you can wet scrub a smooth floor and then push the water away from the area. Very versatile for the price.
Quickie 2-in-1 Squeegee Push Broom 30635SUQHDUS7
Now that you're done sweeping you want to move the stuff away. The longer handle mean you don't have to stoop down and mess with your hands. Just push the stuff in and carry it away.
