I have dry skin and freckles, so I avoid full-coverage makeup that hides them. This is my routine for hydrated, sheer, glowy makeup using a mix of high-end and drugstore favorites to let freckles shine through!

Eyes
Minimal and soft: light brown eyeshadow for a hint of color, a little under the eyes to look bigger, brown liner for gentle definition, and brown mascara for natural-looking lashes that work great with glasses.
My lashes and brows are naturally brown, so I love using e.l.f. Lash Xtender in Brown for a softer, more natural look. It gives just the right amount of length without clumping. Plus—it’s perfect for glasses wearers! No more lashes constantly hitting...
Lash XTNDR Mascara
I go for a minimal, natural eye look that enhances without overpowering. I use Colourpop’s Nude Mood palette—the light brown shades add a subtle pop of color on my lids
Under my eyes, I use Juvia’s Place The Rebel Honey for a warm, brightening effect that makes my eyes look bigger and more awake.
The Rebel Honey Palette
For liner, I actually use the NYX Line Loud Lip Pencil in Rebel Kind—it’s thicker and has longer wear than typical eyeliners, giving me soft, smudgeable definition that stays put.

I focus on hydration and light coverage that lets my freckles show. I use a hydrating primer, add face oil for glow, mix lightweight foundation, set with brightening powder, and lock it all in with setting spray twice for lasting wear.
My skin is dry, so I start with e.l.f. Hydrating Primer to keep it moisturized and help everything blend smoothly. This is after my skincare regimen.

One of my favorite hacks is adding a few drops of Good Molecules Squalane Oil right before blending in my foundation—it keeps my skin hydrated

Instead of using a cream concealer under my eyes, I use Morphe’s Bake & Set Setting Powder in Banana. It’s lighter than traditional concealer but still brightens and sets beautifully without caking. I also use it to clean up my contour for a more...
Bake & Set Soft Focus Setting Powder - Translucent Rich
To lock everything in, I use Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray twice: I mist it after applying my foundation but before blending, which helps it really grip and stay, then again once I’m completely done with my makeup. This double-spray method ...

One of my favorite lip combos? NYX Lip Lingerie in Goin’ Desnuda and Candela Babe for a cute ombré effect—long-lasting wear that stays gorgeous all day.

Blushes and Concealers
I’ve been using this brand of cream concealer for years—if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! I use a peach corrector before foundation to neutralize darkness, a lighter concealer under the bottom of my brows to define them, and a deeper shade to contour....
I start with the Peach Corrector before foundation to cancel out darkness.

I use LA Girl Pro HD Concealer to clean up under my brows for a sharper look
HD Pro.Conceal
I use LA Girl Pro HD Concealer in the shade Fawn to contour.

I use e.l.f. Primer-Infused Blush in Always Cheeky. It’s subtle and not over the top—just the right amount of color for a natural look. It blends in beautifully without sitting on top of the skin.
