Ice Cream Out
Here are the best places to go out for ice cream.
Get there before you plan to eat your ice cream and your kiddos can play in the ice cream truck play structure inside. Good cones and a decent variety of flavors.
Sweet Willow Creamery
This is the best place for soft serve. While you can get hand dip ice cream here, they have more soft serve flavors than I've seen anywhere else. This is our favorite ice cream place because of their reasonable prices, amazing flavors, and big portion sizes.
King Kone Creamery
Think of this place as the farm to table version of ice cream. Bonus, you can pet a cow! This family owned farm has been in York Country for ages and is a staple there. Everything is fresh from there and super family friendly.
Perrydell Farm and Dairy: Home
If Willy Wonka had an ice cream shop, this would be it. The place has a funky design and there is SO MUCH CANDY to add to your ice cream. Plus, this place doesn't just do an average waffle cone, it's a huge, freshly made, bubble type waffle. You'd have to see it to believe it. Go, and bring a friend to help you eat the waffle.
Figments in Sprinkles
If you want a cold snack but need to cut back or skip the dairy, you can get a vibrant snow cone here. Get napkins, trust.

When it rains in the summer and your kid wants ice cream but you don't want to leave the house. Fun activity anyone? Don't forget to tell them all about the science behind using salt to lower freezing temperatures. Lessons, fun activity, and a sweet treat!
How to make homemade ice cream in a baggie.
If you have things in your house, this post will tell you how to make ice cream multiple ways. You definitely can pull at least one of these off with little to no prep. I prefer whip and freeze because shaking a mason jar is more work than you'd think….but do you.
How To Make Ice Cream Without A Machine
If you get ambitious with your ice cream experiments, you may want a container to put them in. These would be a good option for any of the methods that have you freeze the mixture for later. Plus, dishwasher safe, a must in my book.

If you don't keep some of the ingredients listed in the other recipes around but you do have condensed milk, this may be the option for you. This is supposed to yield a better creamy texture even though you are not using a machine, less watery in nature.

Ice Cream At Home (With Machine)
For when you have technology and machinery at your disposal! The options are endless.
In case I didn't get your machine on this list, these recipes should work with whatever type you have. Anyone else see the caramel apple? I have not tried that as an ice cream flavor before but you can bet I know my weekend plans now.
Cuisinart is a household name and if you have an ice cream maker from this brand, this post will help you make many batches of fine ice cream. Don't be afraid to experiment and try different combinations!
Ice Cream Maker Recipes for Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker
Here is that wonderful Cuisinart brand ice cream maker if you don't already have one. The large ingredient spout makes adding favorite mix-ins super easy AND the machine includes a retractable cord that keeps countertops clutter free!

With this guide as your sidekick, there is no way that you will go wrong with the Ninja Creami. The hardest part about all this is choosing which flavor first.
Fun Ninja Creami Recipes to Try - The Girl Handbook
As far as ice cream machines go, the Ninja Creami really takes the scoop. There are so many things that you can do with it and it doesn't take up that much counterspace. It isn't the loudest machine and if you get one, I am sure it might become one o...
