Painting/Prep
Without the right tools, painting can be such a pain. Here are our favorites for making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
Hands down, this is a necessity. It is much sturdier than craft paper and does not tear.
Use it with Ram Board to protect your floors. It bonds to the paper really well, so we highly recommend it.
Must have! Especially if you are using a paint sprayer. If you try to use a bed sheet or something else lightweight, it will flop around. Since canvas is heavier, it stays put.

Love this sprayer. Definitely recommend investing in one if you are painting more than one room. This one is easy to use and does not clog easily.
Hands down a must have! This plastic sheeting is pre-taped, so it's easy to apply to doors, windows, tile, or anything you want to protect during painting.
Clean Up
It's always a challenge to keep a job site clean, but having these items on hand makes it more feasible.
A necessity. Make sure you use the dry bag filter for cleaning up drywall dust and sawdust. Using this filter instead of the standard filter will help prolong the life of your shop vac.
This filter will save your life! Use it with the Shop Vac to pick up drywall dust, sawdust, and other fine, dry particles.
Sounds weird, but these pick up construction dust SO WELL! They're like dust magnets.
Perfect for removing small paint splatters on floors, windows, etc.
Keep these on hand and you won't regret it.
Good for indoor and outdoor use. It picks up large and small particles.
There's always more paint to clean up than you think.
When you have an easily accessible trash can, it's easier to keep the job site clean. We're big believers in clean as you go!
Safety
From protecting your lungs from dust to shielding your eyes from debris, it's important to stay safe on the job site!
We always use these to prevent dust inhalation, etc.
Good to have on hand for a variety of things. Painting with a sprayer, landscaping, or doing anything where debris may be flying.
These seem to always get misplaced, so having a pack of 3 is nice.

You will use this one million times by the end of the project.
If you are renovating, you will be doing A LOT of measuring. Keep these on hand always. This tape is durable and long enough for most needs.
It's crucial to have good lighting. These are super bright and come in handy.
A great all-purpose knife. It's super high quality and the blade cuts very well compared to other knives.
Such a versatile tool! Getting old caulk out of joints, cleaning up trim, and so much more.
