Plants who thrive in bright rooms
Placing plants in the right location is key to them thriving or just surviving. All these plants absolutely love light. So bright sunny rooms like kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms are perfect.
The plants love a bright room but not direct sunlight. It hates to be over watered so water only when the soil is dry. It's pet friendly so don't freak out if they take a bite once in a while.
Money tree plant
This plant absolutely loves light, and can do pretty well with direct sunlight. Saturating the soil will help it grow fast and long. It's a pretty hardy plant so great for beginners.
Lowe's Pothos plant
I love this plant's beautiful greenery. If you put it in a big pot, it can grow wide and tall, making any room feel more like nature. This is a great plant for cleaning the air so it would be a good fit in any room.
ZZ (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) plant
A bright sunny room makes this plant grow fast with deep green leaves but the plant can also live in a low light environment. This plant is like having a tree in your home, big beautiful and provides fresh air.
Mass cane plant
I love this plant not only because it's name is lucky but it can come in many different shapes and styles. So it is definitely an eye catching plant. I also love that it will grow well anywhere in the house.
Lucky Bamboo plant
This is one of my most useful plants! It has topical uses such as a hair and skin mask as well as sunburn soothing. It doesn't need much water and it is almost possible to kill (almost)!
Aloe Vera plant
This plant adds a pop of color to any room it's in. It's a great air purifier that loves a lot of light and moderate watering.
Marginata plant
This plant loves sunlight but can do well in low lit rooms as well. It doesn't require a lot of watering simo it's considered low maintenance (will not die if forgotten for a bit). Great for beginners!
Lowe's Snake plant
This is a great hanging plant that loves light and water. Great for any room because it cleans the air and adds greenery. It is very easy to propagate once the babies grow and hang from the mother plant.
Spider Plant
Plants who like moderate lighting
Rooms without a lot of direct sunlight still deserve plants, all of them plant do well in moderate sunlight. Plants in these areas usually take less water, so keep an eye on your plant care directions.
This beautiful plant is so peaceful, it brings a calming vibe to any room it's in. It's low maintenance, it like to be off to the side away from the windows.

These things will save you time and money when it comes to taking good care of your plants. The easier the better and the more plants you can have!
