As a first time, Mama, when you are reading about things that you need through your postpartum journey, you will be recommended so many different products and it could be overwhelming. I curated this list here that are perfect for what you will need ...
The cutest matching robe sets for you and baby for delivery. Trust me, photos will be taken and you want to look/feel your best! So many prints available to choose from too!
Antoinette Luxe Robe
The best pumping bra available. I love the adjustability that it comes with, and it’s just as comfortable as a sports bra for me. I love being able to move free and not be attached to a wall or not constantly have to hold my pumps.
The Original: Our Basic Pumping Bra - YN08
Put all of your postpartum care in one kit. This comes with everything you would need as well as more. It’s better to have more than not enough when it comes to your postpartum journey!!
Frida Mom Postpartum Recovery Essentials Kit with Peri Bottle
The hospital will definitely give you postpartum pads to bring home, but you will want more than just what they give you. These are a great price from Target for a pack!
Frida Mom Instant Ice Maxi Pad - 8ct
If you plan on breast-feeding, you will want these packs that can be both hot and cold. I keep them in the freezer for whenever it was necessary. I literally bought these and had them delivered the day that we got home from the hospital.
Lansinoh Therapy Packs with Soft Covers, Hot and Cold Breast Pads - 2pk
These cooling pads are awesome, I leave them in the refrigerator still and I’m almost 7 months postpartum. Sometimes you just want an extra coolant, but not wanting to spend an arm and a leg these are great!
Lansinoh Soothies Cooling Gel Pads - 4ct
Save yourself money, so you don’t have to continuously purchase the throwaway nursing pads. I wear these all the time and have a little bag that I wash them in in the same laundry with other items. Leaking happens when you least expect it.
Lansinoh Washable Nursing Pads- 10ct
If you are pumping or breast-feeding, you wanna have these on hand. I take one every day with my normal vitamins as a preventative. But I did need them earlier on as I was getting used to my journey. I was taking them multiple times a day to work out...
Legendairy Milk Sunflower Lecithin - 200ct
If you preferred disposable nursing pads, these are the best ones that I used for sure
Lansinoh Stay Dry Disposable Nursing Pads - 100ct
If there is one thing, I recommend a new mom getting postpartum, it is tux brand witch hazel pads. They are life-changing.
Again, if you are breast-feeding, you are going to want a type of nipple cream. I went through a few cartons of these and it worked really well. Just lather it on and you will be so much better off.
Lansinoh Lanolin Nipple Cream for Breastfeeding Essentials - 1.41oz
For someone who prefers to have less waste, I liked that these are reusable and you can purchase new wraps for them instead of re-purchasing the entire ice pack each time.
Lansinoh Hot and Cold Pads for Postpartum Essentials - 2ct
Instant ice packs for your postpartum journey. If you do not want to use the reusable kind these are a great option as well, but you definitely need to have at least one of these choices.
Frida Mom Instant Ice Maxi Pad - 8ct
The hospital will probably send you home with some type of water bottle to use for your care, but I promise it will not work as well as one that is curved and shoots upward.
Frida Mom Upside Down Peri Bottle
I was taking these consistently when I first started my pumping journey. I would eat them during my pumping sessions to give me something look forward to, because I was depressed with being stuck for 30 minutes.
