I've lived in the National Capital Region for 20+ years.  I've always wanted to move to Baltimore and finally did three years ago.   Several of my friends live here, and these are some of our favorite spots.  I love being so close to all of this activity!

In addition to being just a great park overall, Patterson Park has a great dog park.  It has two sections for big & small dogs.  The grass is fake (turf) so there's that.  But the dogs love the mounds and pool in Summer.

The Rawlings Conservatory is the second oldest glass conservatory in the US!!! It's tucked away in Druid Hill Park. It is free but they request a donation. Something for the family to check out.

If you're looking for a nice walk along the water, check the Waterfront Promenade.  It's a nice, easy, head-clearing walk or jog.  It's nice, especially on a beautiful day!

There's something very relaxing about riding a water taxi. You can catch the Harbor Connector to go from Canton to Fells Point and/or Harbor East to the Inner Harbor, etc. There's the Harbor Trolley, Harbor Connector, and Harbor Cruises.

Who wouldn't want to experience a helicopter ride? You can choose between experiences with the lowest being priced at $55. It's pretty cool to have the option. The helicopter leaves from Pier 7.

Hands down my favorite brewery!…and Baltimore has plenty.  I love the whole vibe of the space with unlimited ceiling and the garage door being open.  They often have a food truck or guy selling delicious hotdogs out front.  Go check it out!

This is another great farmers market located in Fells Point. This one takes place on Saturdays so I usually go to this one on Saturdays and the Baltimore Farmers market on Sundays.

OMG, this place is like stepping into another world.  The food is delicious, even if you've never had Indian food before you'll find something you like.  Just ask for a recommendation and they will bring you a dish you'll love!

Hands down the best octopus.  This spot is a block down from my house, and when I call in to order, they already know it's me.  The Greek dishes are delicious.   The tzatziki is so fresh! It's a small restaurant, but the food is amazing.
Karella's Cafe

The Food Market has the best lobster fingers, cream of crab soup, and several other items.  And while you're there you'll find many more shops and things to do in Hampden.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! It's on the water next to the Sagamore Distillery at the Baltimore Peninsula. I have several favorite dishes and the servers are outstanding.

This one will cost you a pretty penny, but trust me, it's WORTH IT! The food is divine. You can choose the number of courses you wish to be served. We save this for special occasions, but have been several times.

This is a cocktail room that also serves food.  But it's a vibe and holds a special place in my heart.  It's got swinging chairs out front and the best mushroom toast ever!  They make craft cocktails that come with a whole story.  You'll love it.

This is a great fish House on the water with a vast selection of seafood and beer. This is especially popular during the summer because it has an open air feel to it and you can just sit out with your friends to eat, drink, and you have a great view ...

Yes, there are still drive-in movie theaters! Bengie's is one of the oldest drive-in movie theaters in the country. It's something different to do and it brings back memories for me.

There's so much to see here that you'd have to make several visits to see everything. AND, the installations change regularly. I came for a candlelight concert (which was amazing) and was in awe of the art on display.

If you're up for an orchestra, music, or just something different you can check the schedule at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. For example, on the schedule as I type they'll be playing the Jaws soundtrack. Pretty cool.

By now you're probably familiar with x throwing venues. This one is close to my house and I love it because they also have a game called ten pin where you throw a football at bowling pins and you score by getting the green pin.
