It takes a lot of trial and error to find what works best for specific curly hair types. These are just a few of my favorite products that work for me!.
This is the perfect setting gel for curly hair. I just take a scoop and work it through my hair. Then I scrunch wet hair until it's thoroughly worked through.
This has become my go-to shampoo. Over the years I have tried so many hair products, including lots of different shampoos. Curly hair takes a certain shampoo to ensure curls stay looking fresh. This shampoo isn't too heavy and doesn't cause my hair to be weighted down.
This spray from Ouidad is perfect for refreshing curls. I wash my hair once a week and I simply use this throughout the week to help bring my curls back to life.
Great for starting the curl process! I use this before any other products.
It looks like my favorite conditioner has been discontinued, however this is also a favorite for curly hair. Only takes a small amount.

Wavy/Curly Hair Essentials
There's something about a silk pillowcase that helps your curls stay fresh overnight. It keeps hair from frizzing and even has added benefit of helping promote youthful skin. I even travel with my silk pillowcase and pillow.
A cotton t-shirt towel is perfect for squeezing out excess water from wavy/curly hair. It also wraps around hair to hold it on top of your head if needed.
This is a favorite for touching up curls, especially a few days after washing. Just add a couple of curls here and there to freshen up look.
A blowdryer with a diffuser is a must-have for curly hair. I like the Conair Cord-Keeper with diffuser.
