Maybe one day Sarah Andersen will write something that won't have me in stiches sending picture of comics to my friends, but that wasn't this book.
Adulthood Is a Gift!: A Celebration of Sarah's Scribbles
I love this series, its great for a quick pick me up
Cat People to Judge in Art and Life
As someone who grew up watching the Teen Titans on Cartoon Network, I have really been enjoying this version of their stories.
Teen Titans: Starfire
Be honest, who hasn't dreamed of a romantic fresh start in Ireland.
Love at First Book
This book lives up to the hype, its a masterclass of historical fiction.
The Frozen River
When I saw PC Cast was trying her hand at historical fiction I knew I was going to read it. The cherry on top was it was featuring one of my favorite historical figures.
Boudicca: A Novel
Great
Some great takes on mermaid stories
Mermaids Never Drown: Tales to Dive For
Sometimes all you can say in a situation is "oh no."
oh no
An admirable sequel, though not quite as good as the first book.
Somewhere Beyond the Sea
Call me petty, but I love a book that lets vengeance be met out
The River Has Teeth
The third installment of this series, and as always an unique and human look at these myths
The Voyage Home: A Novel by Pat Barker
These books are so magical. I wish I knew how McGuire comes up with so many unique worlds.
Adrift in Currents Clean and Clear
I really want to dive in to more books about the idea that culture has a witch wound. The idea that by punishing the differences in society we have created a wound in society that needs to by healed is intriguing.
Heal the Witch Wound: Reclaim Your Magic and Step Into Your Power
It was great diving into the twins back story and earlier life. I highly recommend the audio book.
Critical Role: Vox Machina--Kith & Kin
A great duology that expands on Arthurian myth.
The Mirror of Beasts
I am so glad I finally got around to starting this series. It is an enchanting mix of mystery, horror and romance.
Belladonna (Belladonna Series #1)
A great novel of unique and shameful characters all working together to overcome their problems and build better lives.
How to Age Disgracefully: A Novel
This book is worth the 8+ times you will accidentally keep type Nightmare Before Christmas into your tbr.
The Nightmare Before Kissmas: A Royals and Romance Novel
Okay
If you want a light and silly romance, this is a good choice.
Her Knight at the Museum
An interesting take on the magical book trope
Ink Blood Sister Scribe
There was a lot of world building being done in this book, but it was still really good. I can't wait for the next in the series.
When the Moon Hatched: A Novel
The rating on this one could have been higher, but there were way too many moments of deus ex machina.
Onyx Storm
Historic fiction about Belle Gunness, after reading this check out Bruce's novel about the Bloody Benders.
In the Garden of Spite: A Novel of the Black Widow of La Porte
The premise was very unique, I just felt like the plot was a little clumsy.
The Games Gods Play (Standard Edition)|Special
It was an amusing read
Success Is 90% Spite: The Pigeon Gazette Webcomic
A good reminder that our hobbies are important.
Craftfulness: Mend Yourself by Making Things
Meh
While this was an unique take on Peter Pan, it just felt rather disjointed.
These Deathless Shores
I loved this trilogy so much, but the ending just felt rushed.
The New Camelot
I really wanted this to be better, but it was just kinda cliche.
Faith: Taking Flight
I really wanted to like this, but it just fell apart in the 2nd half.
For Butter or Worse: A Rom Com
This book could have been a lot shorter. I understand her training was difficult, but I can only read about how cold and tired a character is so many times before hoping they just freeze to death and the novel can end.
Blood of Hercules

From the start this book is filled with pointless deaths, baffling decisions from the protagonists, shoe horned in magical realism that doesn't effect the plot, and jarring time jumps. There are far more interesting books about climate disasters.
