The Pig & The Lady is a must. Cool vibes, hip Chinatown area and the food is a foodies fantasy! This restaurant has been featured in many food shows.

Guaranteed super yummy Poke found at the grocery store - has to be Foodland! Spicey Ahi and Hawaiian Chili Pepper is my fave.

A walk in and pick your goodies type of food market - take your food to the park or beach and have a picnic. Must get is the Blueberry scones - soft and with chunks of cream cheese.

Yes tourist line up here - but local know too that these are the best Malasada's on island. If you can find the Leonard Truck in Pearl Ridge or Waikele you will avoid the tourist crowds. My favorite is the Custard filled ones.

A great pizza! Cool bar vibe but you can also order to go. We love all the pizza's here. Also located in Downtown Honolulu.

Looking for authentic Hawaiian Food look no further! This is a great place to get authentic Hawaii food. So ono for reals!

Best after the beach on the East Side! Must get their Sweet Lady of Waihole - warm kulolo and vanilla ice cream hits the spot!

We love this restaurant for a date night. It's very foodie and delicious. They also have a yummy weekend brunch.

Craving Dim Sum? This is our go-to spot. Sometimes it's a little chaotic and busy but that make it authentic right? Delicious Dim Sum!

Best Poke on the North Shore, in a cute food truck area. Ry's Poke Shack has been featured in many food shows as well. Locals love it too.

Think tapas but for Japanese food. They have amazing sushi but also great cooked dishes. They have yakiniku sticks, inoki bata, hamachi kama, nori nachos just to name a few of our faves.

Tokkuri Tei

They now have several locations because they are so tasty. A must is the CocosPuffs and Green Tea Puffs. Locals alway buy a box of cocopuffs for parties, work potlucks, etc.

Best Roast Duck and Roast Pork on island. This is an order at the counter and eat somewhere else - there is no seating or dining here. But bring it to the park and have a picnic.

Maguro Bro's Poke is outstanding. A favorite of many that there may be a line but totally worth it!

Our secret spot for the most fine shave ice - it's a small hole in the wall located in Aiea ( about 10 mins away from Pearl Harbor). Tourist don't really know about this place - so shhhh! Must try the milk shave ice with pudding and mochi!

The best smash burgers on island IMO - so freaking deliscious! My favorite is the Fun Guy which is their mushroom burger.
