I've been a horror fan for the majority of my life. These movies are ones that I will stop what I'm doing and watch. I also never get tired of these.
This movie is my number one underrated scary movie. It has all the things: the supernatural, the plot twists, the confusion. Oh, and John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson.

The Conjuring
This is the first scary movie I was allowed to watch when I was a kid, because it was rated PG. I've come to find out that there was no PG-13, and this CERTAINLY should have been a higher rating. But it started my love of horror films.
Poltergeist - The Original
This movie is SO scary. The music, the images, everything. It's mainstream, but really one of the best ones out there IMO.
Insidious
Gory, supernatural, lots of twists, emotional. So dang good.
The Haunting of Hill House
I got very attached to the characters in this series.
The Haunting of Bly Manor
Not quite as good as the previous two from the “series” but still pretty good. More interesting and fate-driven.
The Fall of the House of Usher
When I saw this movie, I was truly moved by the underlying message. A mother's love is undying and forever and will transcend worlds. Also, Guillermo Del Toro is a specific taste, but I love his movies.
Mama
If you love Guillermo Del Toro, this is for you. It's fantastical, strange, and some episodes are downright frightening.
Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities
This is more of a fun watch, but it's definitely scary. Matthew Lillard is in it, and I feel like he is scary movie royalty.
Thir13en Ghosts
More of a comedy and really fun to watch. Good intro to scary movies. Has some pretty dark parts and it's super interesting.
The Frighteners
This first season was incredible. The cast was unbelievable and started me on my love for this show. There's ghosts, drama, mystery, everything you could possibly want. This is my absolute favorite season, hands-down.
American Horror Story: Murder House | FX Networks
This is my second favorite season of American horror story. Kevin was great. It was pretty scary. And Kathy Bates is just incredible in it.
American Horror Story - Coven
I agree with this Reddit comment. It's really good. Yes, Paris Hilton is in it, but it doesn't take away from any of it. It's one of my favorites.

Hereditary
I'm a fan of the original. It's so incredibly creepy and realistic.
