I had three beautiful bowls sitting in a cabinet nobody ever opened. Once I figured out how to actually display them, my living room went from bland to interesting overnight.

Bare shelves haunted me for two years. Turns out all I needed were a few mismatched ceramic vases and suddenly every floating shelf had a reason to exist.

Started buying one handmade bowl every couple of weeks instead of scrolling for decor online. Six months later my kitchen looks like it belongs to someone way more interesting than me.

Reading about pottery history made me way better at spotting good pieces at flea markets. Went from grabbing random stuff to actually knowing what I was looking at.

Realized my problem wasn't that I didn't have enough stuff — it was that I had nowhere good to put it. These fixed that fast.

Showed up to my first flea market with nothing but my wallet and almost dropped a pottery piece in the parking lot. Never again.

Stopped buying cheap plastic pots and started putting my plants in ceramic planters. The difference was embarrassing — like why did I wait so long.

Figured out that how you group ceramics matters more than what you buy. A few cheap tools made the difference between cluttered and curated.

Bought a gorgeous vintage piece once and nearly ruined it with dish soap and a scrub brush. Now I actually know what I'm doing.

Once the basics were covered I started adding one bold piece per room. That's when people really started asking questions about my decor.

Had all these beautiful pieces sitting in dim corners doing nothing. Fixed the lighting and it was like redecorating without buying a single new thing.
