Reupholstering? No thanks. I keep four sets of pillow covers in a drawer and swap them out in about 90 seconds. The couch looks brand new every three months and my wallet barely notices.

Smell is the fastest way to trick your brain into thinking everything changed. I rotate scents every quarter and it honestly resets my whole mood about being home.

I stopped buying one big framed piece and started rotating smaller prints in the same frames. Three minutes, totally different vibe. Visitors think I repainted.

My dining table used to just collect mail. Now it has a small seasonal setup that takes five minutes to arrange, and it actually makes me want to eat dinner there instead of on the couch.

The front door is the first thing I see coming home, and for years it was just a sad bare rectangle. One wreath swap per season completely changed how it feels to walk through my own door.

I used to have one gray throw blanket for all twelve months. Now I rotate three or four and the couch alone makes my room feel like a different space every season.
