I used to clean with whatever was under the sink — half-empty bottles from three apartments ago. Once I standardized my supplies, a full clean went from two hours to forty-five minutes flat.

Bought about fifteen storage bins before realizing pretty containers mean nothing if they don't match how you actually live. These three finally clicked.

Bare couches and flat beds made my apartment feel like a waiting room. Adding layers took everything from ‘I just moved in’ to ‘I actually live here on purpose.’

Overhead lights were making my apartment look like a DMV. Switching to layered lighting was the single biggest change — cost less than dinner out and made every room feel completely different.

My counters used to collect everything — mail, keys, random fruit, a screwdriver for some reason. These gave every item a landing spot so Sunday resets take five minutes instead of thirty.

Walked into my bathroom one Saturday and realized it looked exactly like a gas station restroom. These few swaps made it the room I actually want to spend time in now.

Had furniture, had a rug, still felt like something was missing. Turns out it was the small details — the stuff you see in photos and think ‘why does their place look so good?’ It's these things.

Never thought scent mattered until I walked into a friend's apartment and immediately felt relaxed. Now the last step of my Sunday reset is making the whole place smell like somewhere I want to be.
