Checked into a REAL TREEHOUSE Landed in the Dominican Republic, and instead of heading to a beach resort like a normal person… I took a 3 hour taxi into the jungle to sleep in a literal treehouse. No WiFi. No AC. I started the morning by not going to bed and heading to the airport at 2am. This is the longest zipline in the Dominican Republic — and you know what? I was scared. I showed up out of breath from the hike I had to take to reach the first zipline and I was starting to get really nervous but I said girl you did not fly all the way to the Dominican Republic to bail now So I literally jumped and ended up having the best time! I could have ziplined all day. Ending back at the treehouses and getting to see a whole new area was amazing!@dominicantreehousevillage There are 12 jungle platforms and the staff is so sweet here. There are technically 2 time slots each day where you can sign up to have a blast on the zipline. @samanazipline The staff will even follow you if you want a clip of you zipping thru the sky Would you try this or not up your alley? Woke up, opened the curtains, saw this view… and immediately forgot what my flight number was The view here isn’t the only reason you should visit but it definitely helps! Being able to walk down to the beach, get a drink, some food and take in the stunning views was the best way to end my travels in the Dominican Republic! I know you are already searching cheap flights to plan your trip to the dominican republic so you can stay @vibraelvalle_ and @dominicantreehousevillage Before you book: here are some things to know 1. You have to travel 3hrs to get to this area from Santo Domingo to Samana I know this can seem worrisome for traveling to a new country but you can book a car through your stay at the treehouse 2. You need to get cash before getting to the treehouses or villa the closes ATM is 30 mins away 3. The closest grocery store is also 30 mins away so you either need to plan on eating on the beach or treehouse 4. Bring a good shoe - Walking around the treehouse is a little workout and rocky i mean your in a treehouse so bringing a good shoe is a must 5. Be prepare for some of the best views you have seen @vibraelvalle_ @dominicantreehousevillage Wanna travel with me on my next trip?
