Everyone said that these spots were overrated but I disagree These were the best things we saw in @visitsavannah 1. Savannah History Museum - when ever I explore a new city the history museum is always where I start! 2. Graveface museum - this is a true crime museum so very spooky and interesting to see all the real things they have from crimes that have happened over the years 3. @americanprohibition - I loved taking the guided tour and learning all about the prohibition and having a little drink after 4. Visit a psychic - yes this was more expensive but I thought it was so worth it I saw Sylvia 🔮 in downtown 5. Juliet Gordon Lowe birthplace - this is the founder of @girlscouts home and is super special to me as I used to be a Girl Scout and they really teach girls how to be fearless, speak up and be independent woman! Golfing for the first time!
Why is it so embarrassing trying something new? I have never played real golf before like on a course or anything like that so I signed up for a lesson I was impressed by how hard golf actually was so to every guy who has a picture of them golfing on there hinge I get it now! 😂 I am loving this bucketlist because it forces me outside my comfort zone and to try new things I also may have had one lesson and then bought tickets to @pgachampionship 🤭 Got any golf tips? What are you adding to your bucketlist? . . . . . . . #usablogger #travelblogger #usatravels #femaleblogger #single #dating #golf #bucketlist"

Memphis, TN

I visited Memphis in March 2026 and had the best time! I personally think this is an underrated city and a great spot for people who love music and history!

how much a trip to Memphis costs!
Okay... here’s the full breakdown because I know you want the receipts 👀 Hotel ($0) My friend booked it on points, so I covered a couple extra dinners to balance it out. Friendship math. It works out 😂 Flight ($136.50 + 12,000 points) Used a mix of cash and points to keep the cost low. If you’re not collecting travel points yet, this is your sign. Food ($372.55) This is where most of my money went… and I have zero regrets. Activities ($178.56) NBA game, museums, Sun Studio tour, all of it. And yes a $40 NBA ticket is very real. Extras ($69.74): Random purchases, little things, the stuff you don’t plan for but always happen. Total: $722.35 Memphis is honestly one of the most underrated and affordable cities in the U.S. The history, the music, the food, the energy… it gives way more than what you spend. And if you have a friend with hotel points? Even better 😂 Save this for when you’re planning your Memphis trip. And if you want my full Memphis guide (where to stay, what to do, what’s actually worth it), comment GUIDE and I’ll send it. . . . . Must eat RIBS!
You’re visiting Memphis and want a mix of live music, classic Southern food, and a fun Beale street atmosphere … B.B. King’s Blues Club is worth adding to your list. Not every restaurant in a touristy area is actually worth it tho, but this one was. The ribs were actually fall-off-the-bone good, I’d say 1000/10 😌. The portions were solid, and having live music while eating just made the whole experience so cool. It’s one of those places that feels a little iconic while still being genuinely enjoyable. If Memphis is on your list, I’d absolutely recommend adding this to your itinerary. And if you want my full Memphis guide (where to eat, what to do, and what’s actually worth your money), message me GUIDE on Instagram and i got you! P.S. Activities in the city!
Because this city? it’s way more than people expect. Here are 4 things you can’t skip in Memphis 1. Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum - The full story of how this city changed music forever. Soul, blues, rock and roll… it all started here. 2. National Civil Rights Museum -One of the most powerful places I’ve ever been. It’s built around the Lorraine Motel where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in 1968. 3. BB King’s Blues Club on Beale Street Live music, good food, and an atmosphere that feels like the soul of Memphis in one room. The kind of place you walk out of and immediately want to tell someone about 🤭 4. Beale Street Live music, energy, and that classic Memphis vibe. It really comes alive at night. Memphis doesn’t get the flowers it deserves… but once you experience it, you’ll understand what I mean. Save this for your next Tennessee trip. Rating things in Memphis pt. 2
Okay… now this is where people might disagree with me 😭 Not every “must-try” spot in Memphis was worth it for me. Some were overhyped, while some were actually really good. And that’s kinda the reality of traveling, you don’t know until you try it yourself. If you’re planning a trip and want a real mix of what’s worth it and what’s not, this is the honest version. For anyone building a Memphis travel guide, looking for best places to eat in Memphis, or figuring out what to do in Memphis, hopefully this helps you skip a few misses. Save this so you don’t forget. And if you want my full Memphis list (places to eat, things to do, where to stay), message me GUIDE on Instagram and I’ll send it to you.

Honest review of the oldest restaurant in Memphis
I tried two of the most talked-about spots in Memphis… and had very different experiences. Starting with the win, BB King’s Blues Club on Beale Street: The food was AMAZING! Live music, energy, the whole experience just felt very Memphis. Totally worth it. Now the one I wish I could take back 😬 The Arcade Restaurant: Look, I wanted to love it. It’s one of the oldest restaurants in Memphis and it has history. But the food just didn’t match the hype for me. Maybe I ordered wrong. Or maybe I caught them on an off day. But based on my experience I’d skip it and spend that money somewhere else. Memphis really has incredible food, but not every “famous” spot is going to hit the same for everyone. Some are better in itinerary than in reality if you ask me 🥴 Tell me if it was the same for you or I missed something . . . . #usablogger #travelblogger #solotravel #visitusa #femaleblogger"

Where I would take you in memphis if I liked you
Not just the obvious spots, but the ones that make the city feel different. → The Green Beetle - Memphis’ oldest bar, open since 1939. → Peabody Ducks march - a Memphis tradition I wouldn’t want you to miss it’s cute → Crazy Gander Coffee - a hidden gem kind of spot. Great coffee → Beauty Shop - a unique breakfast spot with history behind it. → The Memphis Music Hall of Fame - here you’ll explore the full story of how Memphis shaped the sound of the world. Somewhere in between all of that, you’d really understand why I like this city the way I do. Memphis isn’t loud about what it offers, but when you experience it the right way, it’s perfect! Save this for your Memphis trip. And if you want my full Memphis travel guide (including where to stay, what to eat, and everything in between), message me GUIDE on Instagram and I’ll send it to you. . . . . . #usablogger #travelblogger #usatravels #visitmemphis #solotravel"

this is what a $40 ticket to an NBA game looks like
Not gonna lie… I didn’t expect it to be this good. But the energy? The crowd? The entertainment in between? It’s a full experience. I was surprised that even thou they were out of the playoffs they still went full force and it was a buzzer beater! And for the price? 100% worth it. If you’re planning a trip and thinking about going to an NBA game, don’t overthink it. Especially if your solo as after the museums close it’s the perfect little activity Even the cheaper seats still give you the full vibe. I booked on ticket @ticketmaster Would you go to an NBA game for $40? 👀 . . . . . . #usablogger #travelblogger #solotravel #femaletravel memphisgrizzlies

$100 at Graceland or all of this
Everyone talks about Graceland… and I get it, it’s iconic. But if you’re working with a budget or just want to see more of Memphis, this is what that same $100 could look like instead 👀 Multiple museums. More history. Food!! For me, this gave me a fuller experience of Memphis, not just one story, but all the layers that make the city what it is. That said… if you’re a big Elvis fan, Graceland might still be worth it for you. But come on it $100!! Where to stay
Stayed at the Napoleon Hotel in Memphis and I had to ask… is it actually worth it? Short answer: yes! If you like boutique hotels with character, a bit of history, and something that feels different from the usual chain hotels, this one stands out. It’s right in downtown Memphis, so getting to Beale Street and other spots is easy. So if you’re planning a trip to Memphis and looking for where to stay in Memphis, this would be my pick We stayed Friday - Sunday and it cost 55k points . Save this if you’re building your Memphis travel itinerary or looking for Memphis hotel recommendations. Arcade Restaurant
I know this might be unpopular… but not every “must-try” spot actually lives up to the hype. I finally checked out one of the most talked about places in Memphis But the food itself… I’ve definitely had better. This is arcade restaurant and it’s a skip in my book And that’s the thing about traveling, sometimes the most hyped spots aren’t the best ones. Thinking of trying the famous Elvis sandwich while in Memphis? Literally just make it at home If you like honest travel takes… you’ll love it here. Rating things in Memphis pt.1
Not everything in Memphis gets talked about the same way… so I wanted to rate it for myself. Some places surprised me. Some lived up to the hype. And some… I’m still thinking about 😂 Memphis feels like one of those cities where you just have to experience it yourself. It’s history, music, food, all mixed together in a way that’s hard to explain until you’re there. This was just Day 1 + part of Day 2, and I already had opinions. If you’re planning a trip and looking for things to do in Memphis, where to eat in Memphis, or just building your Memphis travel itinerary, this is a good place to start. Save this for your trip, and tell me which one you agree with (or don’t 👀) P.S. Part 2 is where it gets a little more controversial…

nashville gets the hype but it should be this city
Memphis feels like one of those cities people don’t talk about enough. - The National Civil Rights Museum is not one of those places you just “see” its history and changed the U.S. this alone makes Memphis a must visit city - Beale Street is loud and alive.
 - Sun Studio feels like stepping into music history.
 - WDIA reminds you how much impact one place can have. And yes… I had to try BB Kings restaurant. Worth the wait. If you’re planning a trip to Tennessee or looking for things to do in Memphis, this is one of those cities I’d tell you not to skip. It’s not perfect. But that’s kind of the point. It’s real.
