items If you live in an area that don't normally get much snow, a snowstorm sounds devastating. The idea of losing power to being low on food can cause some to worry. This list has helped me be prepared so much! Hope it helps you as well.

You can never have enough batteries. I can't tell you how many times I would lose a couple in my "junk drawer". Now I have a pack like this in our storm kit. I only use them for emergency situations.

These work wonders in keeping our phones charged. We try to limit phones to only calls for updates and emergencies during serious storms.

If you haven't tried using a tent during power outage, you should try it. These are good for keeping everyone warm inside with tons of blankets and body heat.

In extreme temperatures especially winter storms, wearing thermal underwear your layers of clothes are so helpful in keeping warm. These are my favorite.

I'm a Southerner so snow only makes it appearance a few times a year. When we do get it, its not much. However having this is still useful.

Medical kits are a total life saver for any emergency. We never know when we might encounter an emergency so having this puts us at ease.

There were times where using our vehicle in the middle of an ice and snow storm wasn't feasible so these cleats were a life saver from falls when walking outside.
