Target is one our neigborhood stores and we buy most of our household products there. With the Target red debit card we get 5% off everything and there are also discounted prices constantly.

The Target Red Debit Card saves me 5% off of the final cost after any store discounts are also taken off of the purchase amount. That, practically speaking, cuts the sales tax down to only around 2%.
