items Marrakech is brilliant, but the heat, dust and crowded souks make the wrong kit annoying very quickly. These are the things I'd pack to stay comfortable, organised and ready for long days exploring.
The Marrakech sun can feel relentless by lunchtime. A proper wide-brim hat gives much better coverage than a cap and is still easy to fold into a day bag.

Polarised lenses make the harsh glare far easier on long days outside. I like this shape because it feels sturdy and works with ordinary city-break clothes.
