This is a great resource for not only reading the Bible Chronologically, but it is also filled with all kinds study helps. The price is affordable. This is on Amazon and the cost is $24.29 for the Hardbound version which is what I have.

My absolute favorite translation. When this was translated, the team included well known poets. Why? They wanted to keep the poetic nature of the Bible as it had been in the King James, but with modern language.
