General Non-Fiction
An oldie but a goodie as the saying goes. Can be a bit dated in the stories although the wisdom is still true no matter the time period.
How to Win Friends & Influence People
A very interesting topic and confidence and courage and simple techniques that work.
Presence
Very informative read about human behavior.
The Like Switch: Ex-FBI Guide to Influence
I found this book so fascinating.
The Culture Code: Understand Global Behavior
I am pretty sure this is the teaching I have listened to the most. It is the teaching that was a turning point for me,
The Power of Vulnerability: Teachings
Another inspiring read by Brené Brown
Braving the Wilderness: Quest for True Belonging
This is another book I have reread many times. I own it in E-book form, paperback, and audio version.
The Four Agreements: A Guide to Freedom
This is a great book I have now read a couple of times. Shows the better side of humanity and it's humorous to boot.
Love Does: Discover a Secretly Incredible Life
An inspiring book about becoming love.
Everybody, Always: Becoming Love in a World
A book written by a holocaust survivor on how to find purpose and meaning even in difficult and impossible times.
Man's Search for Meaning
This book really affected me and motivated me to start my own Happiness Project. It showed me I AM a creator if I choose to be.
The Happiness Project: A Year of Joy
How to use words as medicine.
Verbal First Aid: Help Kids Heal Fear & Pain
This book does not necessarily answer a lot of questions although it poses a lot of them.
The Holographic Universe: Revolutionary Theory
I recently read this book and decided it should be on my “read again” list and I rarely re-read books.
Abundant Ever After: Tools for Prosperity
A good read on happiness and choice.
Solve for Happy: Engineer Your Path to Joy
After reading his book on radical forgiveness, I had to read this one as well. I must say he challenges my beliefs (in a good way.)
Radical Self-Forgiveness: Path to Acceptance
This is a very different book on forgiveness. Overall, I liked it.
Radical Forgiveness: Five-Stage Healing Process
Health & Wellness
I found this book quite informative and neither too woo-woo nor too medical.
Good Energy: Metabolism & Limitless Health
I learned quite a bit, I highly recommend it.
The Diet Myth: The Real Science Behind What We Eat
Quite informative. This was my first introduction to telomeres and their roles in health and aging.
The Telomere Effect: Live Younger, Healthier
A fascinating read. We know so little about spontaneous remissions and one size does not fit all.
Cured: Strengthen Immune System & Heal Life
Our lymphatic system is not often talked about although, apparently, it should be.
Lymph & Longevity: The Untapped Secret to Health
Body Kindness
I think this is a book all women (and probably most men) should read. We are brainwashed and manipulated.
More Than A Body: Your Body Is an Instrument
A quicky which was both informative and enjoyable.
Beyond Beautiful: Guide to Being Happy & Confident
A very interesting read in a diet obsessed world.
Intuitive Eating, 4th Edition
Trauma & Therapy
A classic on how the body is meant to release trauma.
In an Unspoken Voice: Body Releases Trauma
I had a profound shift in understanding with this therapy (IFS)
No Bad Parts: Healing Trauma with IFS
I read this book decades ago and found it invaluable.
The 5 Love Languages: Secret to Love
An interesting read on trauma.
Healing the Roots of Trauma: EFT Recovery
For me, this book was a hard read with quite a few triggers. I took me a while to go through it. The info is amazing.
The Body Keeps the Score: Healing Trauma
This book was a huge revelation for me and really made me understand - finally - why I was stuck in survival. I wasn't crazy or evil, I was shutdown. A must read IMO
Polyvagal Theory in Therapy: Rhythm of Regulation
Meditation & The Workings of the Mind
I love love love Sarah Blondin and I have this book on audio, kindle and paperback.
Heart Minded: Hold Yourself and Others in Love
A book on how to connect with our heart's intelligence.
Heart Intelligence: Connecting with Heart's Guidance
