I used to keep 30 spice jars on my counter next to the stove. Grease got on everything, labels peeled off, and I could never find the cumin. Mounting storage inside the cabinet door changed my whole cooking flow.

The coffee maker, the paper towel roll, the knife block. They all sat on my counter hogging space. Moving things underneath the cabinets gave me room I didn't know existed.

Every kitchen has that one drawer where spatulas, batteries, takeout menus, and a random Allen wrench all live together. I fixed mine and then couldn't stop organizing every other drawer.

When counter space ran out and cabinet space was full, I went vertical. Walls are free real estate in a small kitchen and I was ignoring them completely.

Half my counter was appliances I used once a week but left out permanently. Replacing the bulky ones with compact versions gave me breathing room without giving up function.

Dish racks and cutting boards were permanent residents on my counter. Finding ways to use the space over the sink or hang things freed up the last stretch of surface I needed.
