items Film It Between Practices: Content Creator Gear for Busy Moms — Between work, the boys' games and about four free minutes a day, I still love filming our life! This is the simple gear that helps me capture T-ball highlights, quick reviews and family ...
This is my kitchen-corner studio! The light makes my tired working-mom face look alive on camera, and the stand folds down small enough to stash behind the couch between videos.
SENSYNE Ring Light with Stand, 50" Phone Tripod
The bendy legs are everything — I wrap this around the bleacher rail at games, hook it on the counter for recipe videos, and it survives being tossed in my tote daily.
UBeesize Phone Tripod Pro S, Flexible Desk Stand
Game changer for filming at the field! I clip this on and my voice stays clear even with wind, whistles and two boys being boys in the background.
Labstandard Professional Wireless Lavalier Lapel
For the videos where the ring light feels like too much — this panel gives soft, even light for product close-ups at the kitchen table, and the boys use it for their homework forts too!
NEEWER 13" LED Video Light Panel Kit
My secret for hands-free recipe videos! It hangs the phone right over the counter so you see exactly what my hands are doing — frosting cupcakes, packing lunchboxes, all of it.
Overhead Phone Mount with LED Light
Smooth game footage, finally! This keeps my phone steady when I walk the sideline at football games, and it folds up tiny enough to disappear into my purse.
DJI Osmo Mobile 7 Gimbal for iPhone & Android
A dead phone mid-game is my nightmare, so this lives in my bag permanently. It has rescued more than one tournament day of filming — full charge, no panic.
Anker Power Bank, 10000mAh Portable Charger
Taped behind my desk, this plain white backdrop makes every product photo look clean and bright — no more busy kitchen counters stealing the show. It wipes clean too, which matters around here.
Hemmotop Photo Backdrop, White, 5x7ft
Our travel MVP! It stretches tall for full-family photos on trips (finally, mom is IN the picture) and shrinks down to nothing in the diaper-bag-turned-gear-bag.
71" Phone Tripod & Selfie Stick, Extendable
Desk-size and rock solid — this is what my phone sits on for work Zooms and quick updates between meetings. It folds flat, so it also moonlights in my purse for car videos.
Manfrotto MTPIXI-B PIXI Mini Tripod Black
This little fold-up studio is how I photograph small finds and the boys' outgrown gear to resell — built-in lights, zero shadows, and it folds flat behind the couch when I'm done.
Amazon Basics Portable Foldable Photo Studio Box
These run behind my filming corner and make every video look instantly more fun — soft color at night for lives, and the boys beg for game-day colors on the wall behind the TV too.
Govee 16.4ft RGBIC LED Strip Lights
My ideas used to live in 14 different phone notes! Now every video idea gets written down the second it hits — usually in the school pickup line — so filming days actually have a plan.
The Social Media Content Planner for Creators
A whole tournament of game video eats storage FAST. This little card holds every highlight from both boys' seasons without the dreaded 'storage full' pop-up mid-play.
Made for Amazon SanDisk 128GB microSD Memory Card
The clip-on wide lens means I can fit the WHOLE field in one shot from the bleachers — no more choosing which kid makes the frame. The macro lens makes my snack spreads look fancy too!
Xenvo Pro Lens Kit for iPhone and Android
I used to forget my lines and re-film five times — with two kids and a job, who has that time?! This scrolls my words right by the lens so one take is all I need.
NEEWER X12 14 Inch Aluminum Alloy Teleprompter
For the fun videos where I 'visit' places we dream about — and for hiding the laundry pile behind me on work calls gone video! It sets up in two minutes and folds away just as fast.
Emart 5x6.5ft Green Screen Backdrop Kit
This tiny thing clips right onto my phone and fixes dark car videos and evening Zooms instantly. Pocket-size, so it lives in my purse for the quick clips I film between pickup and practice.
Clip-on LED Selfie Ring Light, Small Pocket-Size
For the sit-down videos and voiceovers, this makes me sound clear instead of echoey-kitchen. Plug it in, done — no tech degree needed, which is exactly my speed after a full workday.
FIFINE K669B USB Microphone
Everything in this list lives in this padded insert, and the insert lives in my tote — grab and go for games, trips and shoots. No more cables tangled around snack packs at the bottom of my bag!
