I worked here as a college student and gave tours of the paleozooic and mesozoic exhibits. A hidden gem in Norman Oklahoma. Best dinosaur exhibit I've been to. Also a great venue for weddings and other events.

My favorite museum as a child. It used to be called the Omniplex, but even under a different name it is an exceptional interactive science museum. Lots of hands-on exhibits. Great for people of all ages!
Science Museum Oklahoma
Small, hidden gem. Fascinating collection of skeletons featuring all kinds of species and all kinds of skeletal deformities. Not large, but full of things to look at. Great gift shop!

One of my favorite places! The active center of NASA's mission control and museum of the history of space exploration. Definitely make sure to go on the tour of the Saturn Five rocket!

OKLAHOMA TERRITORIAL MUSEUM
Important Civil War museum and battlefield. Features many original artifacts including an iron-clad ship of war. Definitely worth a visit or five.
Vicksburg Civil War Museum
Very cool museum about the history of Alcatraz Island and its famous prison. Definitely pay the small fee for the audio tour. Outside of the museum, the island is a beautiful and relaxing place to see a plethora of native birds and succulents.
