Galveston is fun place to spend a day if you’re in the Houston area. They have a lot of different attractions for families so there’s always something to do!
Galveston is about an hour south of Houston with so much to do. You have multiple beaches, Pleasure Pier with rides, games and restaurants, the Strand which is full of cute shops and restaurants plus a train museum and an amazing ice cream shop.

This place is near the strand and so full of charm. We’ve been there for lunch several times and always enjoy it. The food is good, the retro pharmacy/soda fountain decor is so neat and since it’s a bit off the strand it’s usually not too crowded.
