Some of these are only for 2 players and some can be played by more. They are all a ton of fun and none of them are too crazy complicated or long.

The best 2 player game out there, you just need a cribbage board and a deck,of cards to play.

The full Lost Cities game is fun too, but this 2 player addition is really addicting!

Pretty fun quick game with a goods trading theme, 2 players only.
Jaipur Board Game
Great game for 2, 3, or 4 players, all you need is a deck of cards. Can be enjoyed by younger kiddos too.

Didn't care for the original Agricola game but this smaller 2 player version is really fun.

Really fun co-op version of Codenames for 2 players (or 2 teams).

Ok this might not be a “great” game but it's pretty fun and quick and easy to play. And ninjas!

Regular Catan is just ok to me but this dice version is really fun. Works great for 2 players but an be played by more.
