I have found local honey, clothes, homemade sodas, freshly fried donuts, brisket tamales, fresh salsa, and all kinds of amazing things here! It's kid and dog friendly and sometimes even has shows/events for holidays.
Wolfforth Farmers Market
A fun place to go at the right time of year. Relatively stroller friendly!
Municipal Garden & Arts Center
Relatively new additions to Lubbock and much needed!
Dog Parks - City of Lubbock
This park has it all! Playground, pond, splashpad!
Mae Simmons Park
Camping, fishing, swimming, a beach-like atomosphere! One of a kind outing in Lubbock.
They have kayak rentals too! As well as group events and camps!

Seriously fun for all ages!
Adventure Park
A bit of a drive but WORTH IT for the second largest canyon in the US.
Palo Duro Canyon State Park
A very unique experience. Bring carrots.
Prairie Dog Town
Super fun! Maybe not on a scorching hot day.
MacKenzie Disc Golf Course
Really fun for adults and kids. Check hours and membership policies.
Aquatic Facilities | Rec Center | TTU | University Recreation
Same price as Six Flags but it's the best we got in town.

Beef noodle soup or pad Thai are both to die for.
Bangkok Thai Restaurant
The chile rellano and the frozen margarita are both the best in town.
The Plaza | Lubbock, Amarillo, Borger, Pampa, Childress, Altus ...
Anything with pink sauce. And they are the only place in town with tomato vinaigrette salad dressing.
Italian Garden
Coldest beer in town. And I love all the "down and dirty" items. Also their queso and creamy Italian salad dressing are both 👌🏻👌🏻
Caprock Cafe - Lubbock
Everyone is here for the margs. Limit 2 per person because...well they'll knock you on your butt. The nachos and quesadillas are delicious too.

The Tea Room at KK's
Delicious. Hands down the best boba in town.
West Straw's Boba Tea
Frozen lemonades or triple p is my go to. But it's all so good.
Super fun for kids but honestly pretty fun for adults too.
Science Spectrum & OMNI Theater
Lots of room to roam and play for little kids. Also they host lots of activities including a family friendly dancing night.
National Ranching Heritage Center
A great gallery and they host an amazing Art Trail on the first Friday of every month.
Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts
Need to replace the sign as it looks pretty rough right now but they have great drink and food selections and are a super fun way to spend a date!
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lubbock
A really fun and unique way to see a movie! We love doing this!
Stars & Stripes Drive-In Theatre
A comfortable and historic venue for live music. Right in the heart of downtown with plenty of restaurants and bars around for before or after the show.
Cactus Theater
Recently renovated and a great place for live music and drinks.
Blue Light
They host live music on the patio in the summer evenings and it's so nice with chips and queso and a drink!
