Hi! I’ve got a 7 month old currently so I thought I’d make a list of items I have relied heavily on!
Babies can only see in black and white and then high contrast colours (hence the red) so these books will captivate them and is a great way to start reading and introducing language to your little one
Black and White Baby Books
So many were needed for everyday life like throw up, when he started weaning, milk etc. You can’t have enough honestly
Baby Muslin Cloths & Squares
Babies can only see in black and white to begin with so these are the best to captivate their attention. The roller was a great way to do tummy time in a position my baby didn’t hate
Mamas & Papas x Another Fox Playmat Bundle (3 Pieces)
I did a lot of research and these are the best baby bouncers ergonomically so is best for your baby’s health. I loved putting mine in one in front of a mirror, he could be entertained there for ages.
Baby bouncer
After a lot of research I found Momcozy to be the best for carriers and wraps. Newborns can only be in a wrap and then can be moved to a carrier when they’re older. A must have if your baby gets clingy so you can be hands free and get things done. Or...
Momcozy Baby Carriers & Wraps
A hairbrush is essential to get rid of the cradle cap, these are super soft
Hairbrushes For Babies
A must have for changing. FYI the padded bit goes towards you, not the babies head incase the baby kindly decides to pee
Changing Mat
These wrist rattles are good for babies to start discovering they have hands as when they move they make a noise
Baby Wrist Rattles (0+ Mths)
I recommend getting zipped sleepsuits, especially when they begin to roll! Make sure feet are covered and they come with mitts so baby doesn’t scratch themselves
Baby Sleepsuits
I underestimated these but my baby loved them! Great to ply peekaboo, my baby just liked the feeling of me running it over his body, it’s great to develop tracking skills - so many uses.
Sensory Scarves
For me these were the best wipes as little one never had a rash from these
Toddler & Baby Wipes for Sensitive Skin
A must have for when they get ill and to prevent a fever when they’re older get vaccines
Children & Baby Fever/Pain Relief | CALPOL® Infant Suspension
We just used a blanket instead of a swaddle as that’s what they use in hospitals, you can swaddle them if you like and you can use them for longer. We moved to sleeping bags when he could move
Baby Blankets
We found this the best later when little one did get a nappy rash
Sudocrem® UK
A must have. My baby woke up every hour some nights so just being able to roll over and sort him out when I was exhausted was a life saver
Next To Me Cots
Get the deluxe one as this has a motion sensor so will turn on when the baby starts to get restless. White noise to help your baby fall asleep and mimics the noises from the womb. Red light is the only light which won’t wake baby up.
Ewan The Dream Sheep Deluxe
We found Johnson’s to be the cheapest and the best. No reaction from our baby
