Childhood toys of someone born in the late 90s in Italy. Lots of hand me downs from older relatives too.
Kayla. My first ever barbie. The collection came out when I was 5, and Charmed was one of the most popular shows back then. I don't know where she ended up but she was so pretty. I had covered her in pen made tattoos though, ops.
Barbie Kayla - Secret Spells
The only ever Polly Pocket set I ever had.
Polly Pocket! Relaxin' Resort' Rock 'n Roller Coaster Hotel Playset Mattel
I remember having some with rigid feet that had a metal component on the poit. They said a few words if you put them in front of each other. Don't remember what version they were though :( They always reminded me of a cute version of Gremlins.
Furby
I had so many of theeese. They sold it in tabaccherias so if some relative wanted cigarettes, you wanted THIS.
Tamagotchi
My first videogames were played on this. I had Pokemon Emerald and might have stolen Hamtaro Rainbow Rescue from my cousin…
Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP Pink
Similar concept to the Tamagotchi but as a girl.
Pixel Chix Toys
Life simulator. You could go to school, go to the plaza and hang out with friends, dress up your doll and walk around. It had separate cards for new clothes and potions. You could even end up at the hospital.
My Life console
I had them in various colors, loved watching them come down the stairs.
Original Slinky
I had a few, but was never quick at solving them, ops
Rubik Cube
It was actually my cousin's, but it was the first console I ever played with
GAME BOY: Color - Pokemon Edition
I don't remember where my mum got it, but it was one of those little candy dispencers they usually sell in amusement parks.
E.T. Pez Dispenser
It was my aunt's. Lots of hand me downs here from past decades
Nintendo NES
Had the ones in the wooden box, now I only have the box… but it's good for holding pencils
Shangai sticks
I had around 50 of them because some relatives used to collect them. I still have a few but I never learned how to play, but they were pretty to look at to be honest.
Yu-Gi-Oh! cards
I had the pink oneee. Still have it somewhere but it doesn't work anymore.
