This beach is bigger than Avila beach and has more shopping and eating options. It home of the famous "Splash Cafe" 🍽️
Pismo Beach
One of the LAST remaining drive in theatres. Always showing relevant movies, and such a memorable experience 🍿
Sunset Drive-In
A little more north, this beach tends to be less crowded. Note: there is not a lot of shopping or restaurants... this is more of a "quiet" beach
Cayucos State Beach - California State Parks
The best spot for a view of all of San Luis Obispo... it's an easy little "uphill walk". Best at sunset!

Must stop especially if you have kids! Feed the animals, shop local pies, jams, produce... have some ice cream or lunch, pick apples + flowers, or take a tractor ride!

We love how this park has something for every age. Our favorites are the zip line and the big hill kids bring cardboard pieces to slide down. Located in the middle of San Luis Obispo.
Sinsheimer Park
The park with the best view! This is a beautiful spot to take the kids to run and play or enjoy a picnic.
Dinosaur Caves Park
You can’t tell from the pictures online but this park has a more woodsy feel nestled in the back near the lake and has two playgrounds for both bigger kids and toddlers. It’s located right by the Atascadero Zoo and has a lot of shady green grass!
